CITY OF COVINGTON

Maple Avenue Streetscape Improvements Project

Dear Business / Property Owner:

The City of Covington is excited to announce the kick off of the Maple Avenue Streetscape Improvements Project. This project will include the replacement of sidewalks, roadway, and trees along with the construction of streetlights and an event power supply station. The project area is located along North Maple Avenue between West Hawthorne and West Locust Streets. Construction activity will begin the beginning of February of 2017 and will include mobilization of equipment, demolition of sidewalks, and will impact parking and street accessibility. We will be working with all business and property owners throughout the project to develop a construction schedule that minimizes impacts to your business and /or property. Weekly updates will be provided to you regarding planned activity so that you can continue to operate in a normal fashion. In the end, this project will greatly improve the immediate area around your business / property and enhance the Maple Avenue corridor.
